What costs money, and what doesn’t

The ledger is free. Unlimited expenses, unlimited groups, unlimited people, every split method, balances, settling up and offline use — free at every tier, including without an account.

What do you get with Pro?

Ten things, in two kinds. The ones marked AI use a model, and four of them are yours already — receipt scanning, voice entry, a reading of a disputed balance and a written reminder all work on a free account, with a monthly allowance, because they cost real money every time they run. What Pro buys is more of them. Wrapped’s captions are written by a model too; the rest is analysis of a ledger you already have — where the money went, not how it was split.

Both happen in the app, where the camera and the microphone are. A page can tell you what they do; it is not somewhere either one can be done.

Both give you a draft to confirm, and neither writes anything on your behalf — so you point the camera at the receipt while everyone is still at the table, and check what came back before it becomes a number anybody owes.

Nothing about your balances, your history or your ability to argue with a number is behind any of it.

How much does Tabrillo cost?

$2.99 a month or $19.99 a year for you, in every group you are in. Or $9.99, once, for everyone in one group, for good — split it like any other expense, and it gets cheaper per person as the group grows. The group option covers everything above except the two that are about you rather than the group: patterns and search across your groups.

Prices are in USD; the store shows yours. Buying is not open yet.

How can an expense app be free?

Tabrillo never moves money. An app that holds your money needs licences, compliance and your bank details, and has to charge for it. One that holds only the record needs none of that.
